AN82.71-P-1000-06SX Install Taxi Two-Way Radio Antenna
- except CODE (494) USA version
- except CODE (498) Japan version

Modification Notes:

Antenna:

1 Clean area around hole on outside of roof.
2 Remove protective foil (25d) from two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3).
3 Insert connectors (25b) and couplings (25a, 25c) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) through existing hole in roof.

Carefully guide electrical connectors through opening in roof to prevent damage to the roof paintwork.

4 Insert two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) in hole on roof and press onto roof.

Ensure that antenna lines are not pinched between panel edge and mounting pod of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) and thus damaged (see arrows).

Connector (25b) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) will be connected later on.

5 Fasten screw (25e) in center of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) with torque Nm.







6.1 Vehicles with code (527) COMAND APS (with navigation system)
- Route line of purple coupling (25c) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) along cable duct (26).
- Connect purple coupling (25c) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) to identically colored connector of standard line, lay down in cable duct (26), and close cable duct (26) around established connector.

6.2 Vehicles without code (527) COMAND APS (with navigation system)
- Route line of purple coupling (25c) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) along cable duct (26).
- Lay down purple coupling (25c) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) in cable duct (26) and close cable duct (26) around coupling (25c) (coupling (25c) is no longer needed).

7.1 Vehicles with code (386) Preinstallation for telephone "Handy", UPCI system or code (388) Telephone "Handy", UPCI system
- Route line of black coupling (25a) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) along cable duct (26).
- Connect black coupling (25a) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) to identically colored connector of standard line, lay down in cable duct (26) and close cable duct (26).

7.2 Vehicles without code (386) Preinstallation for telephone "Handy", UPCI system or code (388) Telephone "Handy", UPCI system
- Route line of black coupling (25a) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) along cable duct (26).
- Lay down black coupling (25a) of two-way radio antenna (A2/49a3) in cable duct (26) and close cable duct (26) (coupling (25c) is no longer needed).
