Location
The electronic overhead control panel is located in the front section of the headliner.

Task
Controls of various systems are located on the electronic overhead control panel. The electronic overhead control panel is supplied with voltage by the front SAM control unit with fuse and rela module (N10/1).
The electronic overhead control panel is a subscriber of the wiper/ inside rearview mirror LIN (LIN 2).
The signals of the following components are provided for other control units via the wiper/inside rearview mirror LIN:
- Rain/light sensor (B38/2)

Additionally with code (249) Automatic dimming inside rearview mirror and outside mirror (driver):
- Forward automatic mirror dimming light sensor (A67h1)
- Rearward automatic dimming mirror light sensor (A67h2)
- Automatic mirror dimming (A67h3)

In addition with code (232) Garage door opener with frequency 284-390 MHz:
- Garage door opener (A67n2)

The following components are supplied with voltage by the overhead control panel electronics:
- Rain/light sensor
- Left sun visor mirror lamp (E14/1) via the left front mirror lamp switch (S101)
- Right sun visor mirror lamp (E14/2) via the right front mirror lamp switch (S102)
- Rear dome lamp (E15/3) (model 207.3)
