AN82.70-P-0008-02EC Retrofit Comfort Telephony Antenna Line

The following installation is shown on a vehicle with code (510) Audio 20 with CD changer as an example.

Component Identification:

1 Detach bracket (9).
2 Remove insulation tape (10) and remove antenna line (1) from power supply wiring harness (2).
3 Wrap antenna line (1) with felt tape (8) beginning at foam sheath (7) to a length of approx. 1250 mm.

4 Route violet antenna line coupling of antenna line (1) along broken line through cable duct (arrow A) of center console (11) using pull-through device (13).
5 Route antenna line (1), as shown, to right next to selector lever module and route at height of right rear floor covering (12) between center console (11) and floor panel into footwell.

6 Pull antenna line (1) with foam sheath, as shown in picture A, approx. 50 mm toward rear out of center console (11).
7 Fix antenna line (1) in place to side at center console (11) using felt tape (14).

8 Route antenna line (1) in right footwell below air duct (15) to cable duct (16).
9 Route antenna line (1) toward rear through cable duct (16) using pull-through device (13).

10 Open cover of rear cable duct (18) and route antenna line (1) into this.
11 Route antenna line (1), as shown, along vehicle wiring harness (19) to multifunction antenna electrical connector.

Route antenna line (1) according to the available length.

12 Fix antenna line (1) in place with cable tie (arrows B) at vehicle wiring harness (19).
13 Fix antenna line (1) in place with felt tape (17) on cable duct (18), as shown.

14 Fix antenna line (1) in place in upper area at vehicle wiring harness (19) using cable ties (arrows C).
15 Connect black antenna line connector (5) to black multifunction antenna coupling (6) and clip into bracket (21).
16 Close cover (20) of bracket (21).
