AN82.70-P-8951-06EC Retrofit Roof Antenna

Antenna:

1 Wrap antenna lines of multifunction antenna (A28/11) with felt tape (1) behind white marking (arrow A) to a length of 800 mm.







2 Guide antenna lines through cutout at roof and position multifunction antenna (A28/11) above cutout at roof.

Observe direction of installation for multifunction antenna (A28/11).







3 Tighten multifunction antenna from inside using screw/bolt (3) and bracket (2).







4 Route antenna lines (4) along broken line to cable duct (6) using pull-through device (5).
5 Fix antenna lines (4) in place at body using retaining clamp (7) included in package contents.







6 Route and fix in place antenna lines (4), as shown, in cable duct (6).
7 Connect multifunction antenna electrical connectors (A28/11x1).

The individual multifunction antenna electrical connectors (A28/11x1) are color coded.
The black connector is for code (386) Comfort telephony and is manufactured at a later point.
The white connector is installed with code (537) Digital radio. The violet connector is installed with code (511) Audio 50 APS with DVD changer or with code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer or with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio or with code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation).







8 Align right rear headliner (8) and position edge guard (arrow B).
9 Tighten bracket (9) using screw/bolt (10).
10 Install cover (11).
11 Install rear dome lamp (E15/3).
12 Install rear Parktronic warning indicator (A44/3).

On vehicles with code (220) PARKTRONIC or with code (230) Exclusive parking assist.
