Notes

- The affected control unit must not be replaced.
- A bus OFF error code is set if the control unit cannot transmit a certain number of messages to the CAN bus or if the messages are incomplete.
- The control unit then shuts itself off from the CAN bus for a short time.

Test procedure

- If there is no customer complaint, the fault code can be erased.
- In the event of stored faults with high frequency count or in the event of customer complaints, check electrical lines and connectors for loose contact and corrosion.
