Check component 'B4/3 (Fuel tank pressure sensor)'.


Check component 'B4/3 (Fuel tank pressure sensor)' by means of actual value.

Test prerequisites

- Component 'Y58/4 (Activated charcoal canister shutoff valve)' is OK.
- Combustion engine AT STANDSTILL
- Fill level in fuel tank between 30% and 90%

Test procedure

- Switch off ignition.
- Detach purge line from internal combustion engine to 'Y58/1 (Purging switchover valve)' component and connect vacuum tester to 'Y58/1 (Purging switchover valve)' component.
- Switch on ignition.
- Actuate component 'Y58/4 (Activated charcoal canister shutoff valve)'.

Note

- Component 'Y58/4 (Activated charcoal canister shutoff valve)' may be actuated for no more than 20min.
- Continue to actuation with button 'Continue'







Actuation of components 'Y58/4 (Activated charcoal canister shutoff valve)' and 'Y58/1 (Purging switchover valve)'

- Close component 'Y58/4 (Activated charcoal canister shutoff valve)'.
- Open component 'Y58/1 (Purging switchover valve)'.
- Component 'Y58/4 (Activated charcoal canister shutoff valve)' may be actuated for no more than 20min.
