Repair Materials:

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle.







1. Clean rear bumper in cross-hatched area with specified cleaning agent.

Rear bumper must be dry, free of dust and grease in cross-hatched area.

2. Unscrew sheet metal screws (3) from rear bumper.
3. Unscrew plastic nuts (4) from fender liner.

On vehicles with twin-pipe exhaust system, a sheet metal screw is installed on the right side instead of a plastic nut (4).







4. Loosen protective foil on adhesive strips on rear mud guards (2) from corners and position so that ends of protective foil extend beyond outer edge of rear mud guards (2).

Do not remove protective foil on adhesive strips completely.

5. Position rear mud guard (2) on rear bumper as shown in figure.
6. Screw plastic nut (4) into fender liner.

On vehicles with twin-pipe exhaust system, a sheet metal screw is installed on the right side instead of a plastic nut (4).

7. Insert clip (5) into rear mud guard (2) and rear bumper.







8. Remove entire protective foil from adhesive strips on rear mud guards (2) and uniformly press adhesive strips against rear bumper (2).
9. Screw sheet metal screws (3) into rear bumper.
