Repair Materials:

Shown left side of vehicle.

1. Clean front fender in crosshatched area with specified cleaner.

The front fender must be free of dust and grease in the crosshatched area.

2. Remove expansion rivet (6) from inner fender.

Expansion rivets (6) can be reused.







3. Remove protective foil on adhesive strips on front mud guards (1) at corners, and position so that ends of protective foil () extend beyond outer edge of front mud guards (1).

Do not remove protective foil from adhesive strips completely.

4. Position front mud guard (1) on front fender as shown in figure.
5. Install expansion rivets (6) on fender liner
6. Screw in self-cutting sheet metal screws (7).
7. Install retaining clamps (5).

Ensure that the retaining clips (5) are installed that the barbs (5.1) can reach into the front mud guard (1). If this is not observed, the paint on the fender can be damaged and corrosion can occur.







8. Remove entire protective foil from adhesive strips on front mud guards (1) and uniformly press adhesive strips against front fender (1).
9. Screw in self-cutting sheet metal screws (7) from bottom.
10. Protect inner front fender edge against corrosion from inside in area of retaining clamps on front mud guard (1) with preservation agent.
