AN82.70-P-0008-08ECA Remove Antenna

1 Open trunk lid and remove hazard warning triangle (11).
2 Unscrew screws/bolts (10) from inner handle strip (8).
3 Remove clips (9) from inner handle strip (8).
4 Remove inner handle strip (8) until the electrical connector for the ambient lamp and left trunk lid warning lamp (E40/2) is accessible.
5 Detach electrical connector for ambient lamp and left trunk lid warning lamp (E40/2) and remove inner handle strip (8).






6 Remove holder (14) from hazard warning triangle.
7 Release clips (13) and remove trunk lid panel (12).






8 Remove adhesive strips (16) and detach electrical connectors for multifunction antenna (A28/11x1).

The violet connector is installed on:
- code (511) Audio 50 APS incl. DVD changer or
- code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer or
- code (525) MB Audio 50 APS or
- code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation system)

The white connector is installed on:
- code (537) Digital radio

9 Remove screw/bolt (15) and detach multifunction antenna (A28/11) or multifunction antenna mock-up.
Make sure that the multifunction antenna (A28/11) or multifunction antenna mock-up does not fall down and damage the vehicle.
