1 Remove first-aid kit (3) from right trunk cover (1).
2 Remove service flap (2) from right trunk cover (1).






3 Make a mark at the right trunk cover (1) according to dimensions "a" and "b".

Dimensions:
a = 40 mm
b = 70 mm

4 Make opening in accordance with the previously made marks with a diameter of 21 mm.
Use a hollow punch with a diameter of 21 mm.

5 Insert taxi emergency alarm system "delete" button (S62/5), as shown, into the right trunk cover (1).






6 Fit taxi emergency alarm system "delete" button (S62/5) using union nut (4).






7 Connect the two white, 1-pin couplings (6) of the "delete" button branch-off line (5) for taxi/rental vehicle wiring harness to the taxi emergency alarm system "delete" button.
8 Place right trunk cover (1) into trunk.
9 Position right trunk cover (1).
10 Form loops with excess length of "delete" button branch-off line (5) and fasten to vehicle wiring harness using cable tie.
