AR72.10-P-1950-05SC Height Adjustment Of Front Window







Connect driver-side power, outside mirror and trunk lid switch group installed on door lining to left door control unit or passenger-side power window switch to right door control unit to raise and lower the crank window (1).

Checking

1. Move crank window (1) to upper end position, close front door and mark immersion depth of crank window (1) in roof frame seal (2) on outer side of crank window (1) at two points (arrows).
2. Open front door and measure distance between marking and upper edge of crank window (1).

Check on markings whether the upper edge of the crank window (1) runs parallel to the retaining rail on the roof frame seal (2).The immersion depth of the crank window (1) in the roof frame seal (2) should be approx. 9 mm.







Adjust

3. Completely lower crank window (1).
4. Remove covers (3).
5. Turn back height adjuster (4) approx. 10 turns.
6. Enter vehicle, close front door and move crank window (1) to upper end position.
7. Press height adjuster (4) upward against corresponding limit stop through cutouts in inner door panel (5). Both height adjusters (4) should reach their limit stops simultaneously, e.g. the crank window (1) should not tilt when moving up.
8. Lower crank window (1), open front door, exit vehicle and move crank window (1) to upper end position.Check whether both height adjusters (4) run audibly and simultaneously to their limit stops, repeat adjustment if necessary.
