Fuel Line Coupler: Service and Repair

AP47.25-P-0780-01SX Disconnect/Connect Fuel Line Connector

Detaching
Do not disconnect or kink fuel lines (6, 7) otherwise these will be damaged.

1 Cover opening in the fuel tank using a clean rag.

Component Identification:

2 Use a screwdriver to pry safety clips (6a) off fuel lines (6) and remove
3 Loosen locks on the fuel lines (6) by pressing together the tabs (6b) and detach fuel lines (6) from fuel filter (4).
4 Release the lock on the fuel line (7) by pressing the circle (7a) in the direction of the arrow, then detach the fuel line (7) from the fuel filter (4).

Attaching
5 Push on fuel line (6, 7) until it larches noticeably on the fitting on the fuel filter (4).
Check correct locking by pulling on the fuel lines (6, 7).

6 Mount safety clip (6a).
