Task
The tire pressure monitor (RDK) system is permanently operational and is not operated actively by the driver.

As of "terminal 15 ON" the TPM [RDK] control unit (N88) carries out a re initialization and starts to transmit signals to the multifunction display. A reactivation of the TPM system can be triggered by the system selection button and the scroll forward/back button.

The TPM system can be reactivated in the following cases:
^ Tire pressure changed (e.g. by refilling)
^ After each wheel or tire change

With the activation of the TPM system the air pressure values of the wheels set by the driver are stored in the TPM [RDK] control unit as specified monitoring data.
