- Disconnect 8-pin plug from component N118 (Fuel pump control module).
- Connect socket box to component N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit).
- Disconnect the socket F(2) at control module N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit).
- Test cable for open circuit.
- Measure resistance with multimeter between socket N118.2.2 and socket [F17] 113 of the 126-pole socket box tester.
- Specified value for line resistances:< 1ohms
