GF27.60-P-5221ACW Shift Pressure Shift Valve Component Description

GF27.60-P-5221ACW Shift pressure shift valve component description
- TRANSMISSION 722.618/640/646/695/699

Location
A shift pressure shift valve belongs to each shift group. The shift pressure shift valve 1 - 2 or 4 - 5 (29a) and the shift pressure shift valve 2 - 3 (29b) are located in the valve body of the valve body assembly. The shift pressure shift valve 3 - 4 (29c) is located in the valve housing of the valve body assembly (2a).

Task
Each shift pressure shift valve assigns a corresponding shift pressure to an engaging shift element (p-S). At the same time the regulated overlap pressure is assigned by the regulating valve overlap pressure (p-) to the disengaging shift element.

Design
Shown here, shift pressure shift valve (29) (multidisk brake (68) engaged, multidisk clutch (67) disengaged)

Design
Shown here, shift pressure shift valve (29) (multidisk brake (68) disengaged, multidisk clutch (67) engaged)

Function
When the multi-disk brake (68) is engaged, working pressure (p-A) is applied to the end face of the shift pressure shift valve (29) via the command valve (31). During the shifting phase, its shifting state is maintained, by replacing the variable shift element pressure acting on the end face during the shifting phase, with a corresponding constant pressure.

When the multi-disk clutch (67) is engaged, the end face of the shift pressure shift valve (29) is unpressurized during the stationary and shift phases so that the shift state is maintained during the shift phase in this case too.
