GF27.60-P-5220ACW Holding Pressure Shift Valve Component Description

GF27.60-P-5220ACW Holding Pressure Shift Valve Component Description
- TRANSMISSION 722.618/640/646/695/699

Component Identification:

Location
A holding pressure shift valve belongs to each shift group.
The holding pressure shift valve 1 - 2 or 4 - 5 (28a) and holding pressure shift valve 2 - 3 (28b) are located in the valve body, the holding pressure shift valve 3 - 4 (28c) is located in the valve housing of the valve body assembly (2a).

Task
Each holding pressure holding pressure shift valve assigns the working pressure to an actuator of a shift group.

Component Identification:

Body
Shown here, shift phase

Function
The holding pressure shift valve (28) is engaged through the pressure applied to the end face on the actuators and spring force. It allocates the working pressure (p-A) to the actuator with the higher pressure (taking into account the spring force and effective area).

The other element of the shift group is then unpressurized. A changeover of the holding pressure shift valve (28) only takes place during the shift phase and only at a particular pressure ratio of overlap pressure (p-) to shift pressure (p-S).
