GF40.15-P-5124CEA Tire pressure monitor control unit, component description
- with CODE (475) Tire pressure monitor (premuim)

Component Identification:

Location
The tire pressure monitoring system control unit is located at the left in the trunk.

Task
The tire pressure monitoring system control unit has the following tasks:
^ Reading in of sensors and signals
^ Evaluation of input factors
^ Actuation of components

Reading in of sensors and signals
The input factors are read in with the following connections:
^ Two-way radio
^ Interior CAN (CAN B)

Two-way radio
The signals from the following components are read in via radio connections:
- Left front tire pressure sensor (A69/1)
- Right front tire pressure sensor (A69/2)
- Left rear tire pressure sensor (A69/3)
- Right rear tire pressure sensor (A69/4)

Interior CAN
The following signals are read in over the interior CAN:
- Vehicle speed signal
- Outside temperature
- kilometer reading

Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components
Components are actuated with the following connection:
^ Interior CAN

Interior CAN
The following component is actuated via the interior CAN.
- Instrument cluster:
- Menu displays and warning messages

Design
The central antenna for receiving radio signals from the tire pressure sensors is integrated in the tire pressure monitoring system control unit.
