Repair Materials:

If the protective foils on the adhesive strips are not provided with gripping points, pull up a piece of the protective foil at the ends in question and bend toward the edge of the component at a 45° angle.

Wait until step 6 to remove protective foil.

1. Hold rear diffuser (1) on rear bumper (2) and align contour (arrows).

See picture A.







2. Mark hole center points (arrows) through specified holes in rear diffuser (1) on rear bumper (2).

3. Drill holes (arrows).

See picture B.

Ensure that no other components are damaged when drilling a hole with a diameter of 5 mm.

4. Clean gluing surfaces with specified cleaning agent.

The sealing surfaces must be free of dust and grease.







5. Insert plastic rivets (3).

6. Remove protective foil on adhesive strips by pulling at gripping points (shown in magnified section).

Ensure that rear diffuser (1) remains in installation position and makes contact with contour of rear bumper (2).

Uniformly pull off protective foil.
