Do not touch present adhesive beads and bonding surfaces (1) with bare fingers. Fingerprints should not be present in the area of the adhesive beads and bonding surfaces (1) on the panoramic roof frame (2). The bonding surfaces (1) and adhesive beads must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components, otherwise the adhesive force of the glued connection is impaired.

1. Cut present adhesive beads on bonding surfaces (1) on panoramic roof frame (2) down to a remaining height of approx. 1 mm to 2 mm. Remove adhesive material residues. Remove remaining pieces not cut off completely from adhesive beads.

Wet/dry vacuum cleaner

2. Repair paint damage on panoramic roof frame (2).
3. Apply primer to bonding surfaces (1) where no remaining adhesive is present.

Observe processing instructions for primer to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when installing the window.
