AZ82.20-P-0001-01CC Install Illuminated Door Sill








The following operation steps are shown on the right side of the vehicle. Installation on the left side of the vehicle is performed in the same manner.
1 Release edge guard in area of door sill (16).
2 Remove door sill (16).





3 Remove adhesive residue (arrows) and clean bonding area.





4 Remove carrier foils of adhesive strips for illuminated door sill molding (2).
5 Glue on illuminated door sill molding (2) onto longitudinal member.
6 Create cutout (arrow) for ribbon cable (2.2) at rail (18).
7 Fix ribbon cable (2.2) in place at fold of longitudinal member with adhesive tape (17).
8 Connect black 2-pin connector of illuminated door sill molding (2) to illuminated door sill molding wiring harness.
9 Wrap felt tape around the connector created and route underneath the floor covering.
