1 Adapter line
2 Connector

4 Coupling (on control unit)
5 Connector (on speaker)
6 Coupling (on vehicle wiring harness)






1 Contact connector (2) of adapter line (1) with the coupling of the vehicle's own radio wiring harness.
2 Route adapter line (1) in as space saving manner as possible in the left lower radio recess.
3 Fix the coupling (3) in position with sufficient gap in the radio recess.
The adapter line (1) must be routed and fixed in place so that vibrations and damage are ruled out. This must not adversely affect the removal/installation of adjacent components.

4 Route and fix in place the line lacing with the coupling (on control unit) (4) in the front passenger footwell.
The coupling (on control unit) (4) will be contacted later with the control unit.






5 Route and fix in place the line lacing with connector (on speaker) (5) and coupling (on vehicle wiring harness) (6) of adapter line (1) upwards between the air ducts (see arrow).
This must not adversely affect the removal/installation of adjacent components.






6 Remove bolts (28) of center speaker (17).
7 Remove connector of vehicle's own wiring harness from speaker.
8 Contact connector (5) with coupling of speaker (17).
9 Contact coupling (6) with connector of vehicle's own speaker wiring harness.
10 Fix line lacing of adapter line (1) in position and secure speaker with the bolts.

Vehicles without center speaker
Contact connector (5) of adapter line with retrofitted center speakers. Secure center speaker with the installation kit of the enclosed bolts.
The coupling (6) not required of the adapter line is not required and can be strapped down.
