- MODEL 204.0## /2## 1# as of 1.3.11, 204.3## 1#
- with CODE (537) Digital radio with CODE (810) Sound system

1 Connect black 2-pin coupling (16) of optical fiber wiring harness (17) to media interface control unit (N125/1).

2 Route optical fiber wiring harness (17), as shown, from installation location (arrow C) of media interface control unit into slot of audio equipment.
3 Fasten optical fiber wiring harness (17) using cable ties to vehicle wiring harness.

4 Remove connector (20) of on-board optical fiber (22) from black 44-pin coupling (21).
5 Remove blue fuse (18) from coupling (20) of on-board optical fiber (22).
6 Remove optical fiber (22.1) of on-board optical fiber (22) from input of contact cavity (arrow C) of coupling (20).
Observe arrows on coupling (20).

7 Remove blue fuse (18) from coupling (19) of optical fiber wiring harness (17) from media interface.
8 Remove optical fiber (17.1) from input contact cavity (arrow C) of optical fiber wiring harness coupling (19).
Observe arrows on coupling (19).

9 Install optical fiber (17.1) into free contact cavity of coupling (20) of on-board optical fiber.
10 Install blue fuse (18) in coupling (20) of on-board optical fiber.
11 Remove optical fiber (17.2) from contact cavity (arrow D) of contact cavity (19) for optical fiber wiring harness from media interface.
12 Install coupling (20) of on-board optical fiber in outer slot on black 34-pin coupling (21).

13 Join the remaining optical fiber (22.1) and optical fiber (17.2) using connection piece (23).
The connection piece (23) is an adapter for closing the ring of the optical fiber again.
The optical fiber (22.1) and the optical fiber (17.2) must audibly engage.

14 Lock connection piece (23) by pressing it together.
