The following operation steps are shown on the right side of the vehicle and can be accomplished analogously on the left side of the vehicle.






1 Connect wiring harness (9) to Tablet PC mount control unit (2) and route to front passenger seat control unit (N32/2).
2 Fasten wiring harness (9) at seat frame using cable ties and strap down excess length of line.
The white 8-pin connector (9.1) and the black 4-pin plug (24) are connected at a later point.
Fix the wiring harness (9) in place at the seat such that adjustment of the seat is possible without limitation. Otherwise shearing off or crushing of the wiring harness (9) may occur.






3 Route wiring harness (6) from previously created opening in backrest to Tablet PC mount control unit (2).
4 Connect white 8-pin connector (9.1) to white 8-pin plug (6.1).
5 Fasten wiring harness (6), white 8-pin plug (6.1) and white 8-pin connector (9.1) at seat frame using cable ties and strap down excess length of line.






6 Detach black 4-pin connector (10) of vehicle wiring harness from front passenger seat control unit (N32/2) and connect to black 4-pin connector (24) of wiring harness (9).
7 Connect black 4-pin connector of wiring harness (9) instead of black 4-pin connector (10) at front passenger seat control unit (N32/2) at left outer slot.
8 Fasten wiring harness (9) at seat frame using cable ties and strap down excess length of line.
