In model 204.9, the GPS antenna is located in the installation opening for the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) in the rear in the upper left corner.

Task
The GPS antenna receives the signals in the microwave range of the navigation satellites and the FM signals of the Traffic Message Channel (TMC). The GPS antenna forwards the received signals via direct lines to the navigation 20 control unit (retrofit) (N125/2).
