1 Remove rubber cover (12) next to trunk lid seal (11)

Rubber cover (12) is no longer required

2. Bend sheet metal channel (14) down to a length of a = 50 mm to ensure free access to blind rivet nut mount (13)

Avoid damaging paint







3. Adjust jigging on jigging tool for blind rivet nuts (15) to 3.5+0.1 mm.

Protect Vario roof against damage with cover (16)

4. Position blind rivet nut on jigging tool for blind rivet nuts (15) and pull in (e.g. with FireBird blind rivet tool, electro-mechanical jigging tool for blind rivet nuts).







The blind rivet nut (2) should be positioned absolutely flat, if necessary repull with jigging tool for blind rivet nuts (15)







5. After installing blind rivet nut (2) bend back sheet metal channel (14) and seal bending area with body sealant
