Location
The modulating pressure control solenoid valve is located on the supporting body of the electric controller unit and is pressed against the valve body of the valve body assembly by means of a leaf spring.

Task
The modulating pressure control solenoid valve controls the modulating pressure depending on the constantly changing operating conditions (e.g. load change and gear change). The modulating pressure control solenoid valve has a snug fit and is sealed with a gap seal facing the shift plate valve body. The contact springs on the modulating pressure control solenoid valve grip into a slot in the conductor tracks. The spring force of the contact springs means that reliable contacting is guaranteed.
