AR77.30-P-1002-02QA Install Soft Top Support Fastening Gauge

Special Tool:

Checking adjustment of soft top support (3) is shown on the left side of vehicle on model 209.4 as an example.

1. Tighten locating tool to body with bolts (2).

On model 207.4 use locating tool instead of locating tool.

Screw locating tool to body with one bolt (2) only.

Lay locating tool down flat on beltline.

2. Pull locating pint (1) out of locating tool.
3. Pull locating tool apart and slide onto mounting bolt (5) on soft top support (3).
4. Fix locating tool in place with locating pin (1).

If it is not possible to fix the locating tool in place with the locating pin (1), adjust soft top support (3).

5. Loosen bolts (4), adjust soft top support (3) with locating tool and tighten bolts (4) on soft top support (3).

Only if soft top support (3) must be adjusted.
