AR77.37-P-4195QA Remove/Install Hydraulic Cylinder Lock Unit












1 Open soft top

NOTE: Leave soft top compartment cover upright

2 Cover vehicle in rear area

NOTE: To prevent scratching the paint during assembly work.

3 Remove paneling from soft top at front
4 Remove fuses (1) and take out lock unit (3).
5 Mark seat of mounting screws (2).
6 Unscrew mounting screws (2)
- Screw, lock unit to roof tip = 10 Nm
7 Remove lock unit (3) with hydraulic cylinder lock unit (8).
8 Turn bolt (5) to hole (11).

NOTE: Turn hydraulic cylinder lock unit (8) with Alien wrench from vehicle tool kit until bolt (5) coincides with hole (11).

9 Remove fuse (4) from bolt (5).
10 Pull bolt (5) out of lock unit (3).
11 Remove fuse (6) from bolt (7).
12 Pull bolt (7) out of lock unit (3).
13 Remove hydraulic cylinder lock unit (8)
14 Remove fuses (9)
15 Pull out hydraulic lines (10).
16 Install in reverse order
