Positioning device





To install the intermediate plate the main shaft and countershaft must be inserted into the support fixture (2).

1 Insert support pillars (33) in the sleeves on the support slides (3).





2 Attach intermediate plate halves (1.1).
3 Align oil guide ring (8) at the height of the gap between the idler gear of reverse gear (10) and idler gear of 1st gear (9).





4 Attach positioning device (11) for bearing of the intermediate plate on fixed gear of 4th gear and press upwards until it abuts with the fixed gear.
5 Fasten positioning device (11) with hold down clip (12).





6 Slide support slides (6) inwards and lock using the fastening device (5).
7 Attach intermediate plate halves (1.2).
8 Slide the support slides (3) inwards and tighten the bolts (4) by hand.

The oil guide ring (8) must engage centrally in the gap between the reverse gear idler gear (10) and 1st gear idler gear (9).

9 Attach intermediate plate half (1.2) to supporting pillars (33) using bolts (13).

Align support pillars (33) by turning on the mounting holes of the intermediate plate half (1.2). Screw in bolts (13) with shims.





10 Tighten bolts (4) evenly.
11 Detach supporting pillars (33) from intermediate plate half (1.2) and remove support slides (3).
12 Remove hold down clip (12) and positioning fixture (11) from main shaft.
13 Insert centering sleeve (7).
