AR41.10-P-0086-05CW Correcting rear articulation angle at rear axle center assembly

Rear axle carrier:

Correct the rear inclination angle (3)
Corresponding shims (arrow) are available as a replacement part for correcting the articulation angle at the differential.

Shims have a thickness of 1 mm to 4 mm. In the process 1 mm corresponds to a change of articulation angle by approx. 0.25 degrees up to 0.33 degrees.

Example

1 Support rear axle center assembly with transmission jack and transmission platform.
2 Remove differential bolt on front differential mount
3 Depending on the correction insert corresponding shim together with the bolt.
4 Tighten bolt.
5 Remove transmission jack and transmission platform.
