AR35.30-P-0115-01TX Remove/install and secure rear axle shaft twelve-point collar nut

Component Identification:

Detaching
1 Apply parking brake
2 Unscrew the twelve-point collar nut (12) that attaches the rear axle shaft.

Mount on and secure
The twelve-point collar nut (12) should be replaced each time it is unscrewed.
3 Tighten twelve-point collar nut (12) to specified torque.
4 Use caulker to secure twelve-point collar nut (12) with no residual gap between the groove and the securing tabs (arrow).
5 Release parking brake.
