Component Identification:

The cone (3) on the steering knuckle (1) for fastening the upper ball joints (2) has been modified. In the event of a repair, the old version (A) is to be replaced with the new version (B).

The old version (A) can be recognized by the cut recess (arrow) in the area of the steering knuckle's (1) tie rod fastening.

On vehicles with the version (A), the upper ball joint (2) is also to be replaced when replacing the steering knuckle (1).

When replacing the upper ball joint (2), the steering knuckle (1) should also be replaced.

If the version (B) is installed, the steering knuckle (1) and upper ball joint (2) can be individually replaced.

Replacement parts are only available for version (B).

It is not possible to combine parts from both versions!
