1 Attach round cable lug (10) with inside diameter of 6 mm at brown line (br).

2 Connect brown line (br) of power supply wiring harness at left front footwell ground point (W15/5).
3 Open driver footwell cable duct (3).
4 Route red line (rt) of power supply wiring harness from left front footwell ground (W15/5) to driver footwell cable duct (3).

5 Open all driver footwell cable ducts (3).
6 Place left floor covering (5) in rear to one side.
7 Open left rear cable duct (6).
8 Route red line (rt) along driver footwell cable ducts (3) to B-pillar.
9 Route red line (rt) into the B-pillar cable duct (4) using a pull-through device.
10 Route red line (rt) along left rear cable duct (6).
11 Close left rear cable duct (6) and driver footwell cable ducts (3).

Component Identification:





12 Route red line (rt) from left rear cable duct (6) along vehicle wiring harness (9) into trunk as shown.
13 Fix red line (rt) in place on vehicle wiring harness (9) using cable ties.

14 Route red line (rt), as shown, along vehicle wiring harness to cable duct (8).
15 Route red line (rt) along cable duct (8) in trunk to rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
16 Fix red line (rt), as shown, to vehicle body with felt tape (7).
17 Fix red line (rt) in place on vehicle wiring harness using cable ties (arrows C).

Component Identification:





18 Unclip transparent fuse carrier (7-pin) (2) from brackets (arrows D)on rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
Only for vehicles in which the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) is already installed.

19 Release fuses (arrow A and B) on transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2).
On vehicles in which the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) is already installed, this is used. On vehicles in which the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) is not yet installed, the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) included in the package is used.
20 Install red line (rt) in slot "1" of the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) and lock retainer (arrow B).
The numbering of the slots is on the rear of the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2).

Component Identification:





21 Install electrical fuse 65 (N10/2f65) with a rating of 7.5 amps in slot "1" of the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) and lock retainer on transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2).
22 Clip transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) into colored slot on rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
