Special Tools:
The measuring set is designed in such a way, that the measuring bolts, according to the measuring points at the vehicle, can be screwed together out of mounting bolts, extensions and measuring tips/bolts.
The configuration of the measuring bolts is shown in the table, where the digits in the column headed "Measuring bolt configuration" are the special tool end numbers.
For example: 02/07/10 = 168 589 07 63 02 (support stud) 168 589 07 63 07 (extension) 168 589 07 63 10 (measuring tip)
Component Identification:
1 Measure distance dimension (H1) from check point (K) to center of Torx(R) bolt head of front mount of rear axle carrier. Measure on the left and right side in each case.
If necessary, unscrew and screw in Torx(R) bolts and check for deformation.

2 Measure distance dimension (H2) from check point (K) to center of Torx(R) bolt head of rear mount of rear axle carrier. Measure on the left and right side in each case.
If necessary, unscrew and screw in Torx(R) bolts and check for deformation.
Component Identification:
3 Measure distance dimension (H3) diagonally between centering point of Torx(R) bolt heads of front and rear mount of the rear axle carrier.
Component Identification:
4 Measure distance dimension (H4) from the centering point of the Torx(R) bolt heads between the rear bearings of the rear axle carrier.
