Integrated Child Seat Lock

Check the lock before removing any integrated child seat. To enable the integrated child seat press the center of the seat cushion until it the latch snaps into place.





Undamaged and functioning integrated child seat modules have been increasingly removed. A label should be attached to a folded-up integrated child seat showing how they are to be used (Figure 1)

Never apply force to the seat cushion when opening or closing with the handle as this may activate the mechanical seat occupied recognition (control is locked) and damage the handle mechanism. Similarly, do not press on the cushion or the edge of the intergrated child seat to lock as this could deform the frame and damage the lock operation.
