Reason for change
Complaint:
Significant temperature differences between driver and passenger side.
Fault code 90A207 in AAC control unit (The actuator motor for the left blend air flap has a malfunction. There is a mechanical fault).
Cause:
Faulty software in AAC control unit.
The stepper motor can continue to be used without having to be removed/replaced.
Remedy:
Flash AAC control unit with new software (software no. A212 902 8603 or SW_10/16_03 or higher).
CAUTION:
For model series 207 this new software is only available in the field as of add-on 1882 (for DVD 05/211) or add-on 1884 (for DVD 07/201).
