AZ88.30-P-0015-02EW Install Roof Spoiler On Rear Window
- except CODE (772) AMG styling package - front spoiler, side skirts, and rear apron

Repair Materials:

Helper required to assemble roof spoiler (1).

1. Install roof spoiler (1) on rear window, center and mark position with adhesive tape (3).

Ensure that the distance to the outside sides is the same on left and right.

2. Cut adhesive tape (3) with suitable knife in gap between roof spoiler (1) and roof.

Do not damage paint layer on roof or roof spoiler (1).

3. Remove roof spoiler (1) and clean rear window in bonding area with adhesive tape primer.

The area on the rear window to be glued must be free of dust and grease. Observe manufacturers instructions.

4. Remove protective foils (4) on side adhesive strips from roof spoiler (1).

5. Slightly remove protective foils (5) from adhesive strips on roof spoiler (1) at ends and bend 45° in direction of outer edge.

If necessary, fix bent protective foils (5) in place on outside of roof spoiler (1) with adhesive tape.

6. Place roof spoiler (1) on rear window and align to previously attached adhesive tape (3).

7. Remove protective foil (5) in increments of 15 to 20 cm starting at one side and firmly press on roof spoiler (1).

When pressing on, press directly on adhesive strips on roof spoiler (1) to prevent adhesion problems. The maximum adhesive force is reached after approx. 72 hours at 20 °C! Avoid any contact with moisture (e.g. rain, fog, carwash) within the first 24 hours. Prevent any mechanical stress.

Do not remove protective foil (5) all at once. To increase processing reliability when installing roof spoiler (1), conclude by pressing roof spoiler (1) down rear window using a clean cotton rag, starting at one side.

8. Remove adhesive tape (3).
