1 Wrap felt tape (3) around white 4-pin coupling (2) of cigarette lighter or 12- volt socket.
2 Strap down wiring harness of cigarette lighter or 12-volt socket and fix white 4- pin coupling (2) in place at vehicle wiring harness with cable tie (4).
3 Route taximeter branch-off lines (5) through lower opening in center console (1) in installation area of stowage compartment or front ashtray housing.
The taximeter branch-off lines (5) are left lying, as shown. They are used to connect the taximeter at a later point.






4 Wrap felt tape around blue 2-pin connector (17) and blue 4-pin connector (18) of taxi/rental vehicle wiring harness.
5 Route blue 2-pin connector (17) and blue 4-pin connector (18) of taxi/rental vehicle wiring harness below center console (1).
6 Route mobile phone electrical connector (X39/37) below center console (1).

7 Close cover (6) at center console (1).
