AN82.25-P-1000-17EW Retrofit Mirror Taximeter
- 212.0## 1#
Two different overhead control panels are installed depending on the vehicle equipment:
- Overhead control panel control unit for vehicles with code (414) Electric glass tilting/sliding roof
- Overhead control panel electronics for vehicles without code (414) Electric glass tilting/sliding roof
1 Install carrier (1) of inside rearview mirror and tighten with screws (2).
2 Clip mirror base (3) of inside rearview mirror (A67) with mirror taximeter (A50/1) into the carrier (1).
3 Strap down black, 2-pin coupling (4) and fasten with cable tie to wiring harness.
The black, 2-pin coupling is for calibration of the mirror taximeter (A50/1). It is to be routed and fastened such that after unclipping the overhead control panel electronics or the overhead control panel control unit it is easily accessible. Make sure that the black, 2-pin coupling (4) is routed and fixed such that no clattering noise is generated.
4 Connect white, 8-pin coupling (10) of the inside rearview mirror (A67) with mirror taximeter (A50/1) to the overhead control panel electronics (N70/3) or to the overhead control panel control unit (N70).
5 Connect white, 6-pin plug (5) of inside rearview mirror (A67) with mirror taximeter (A50/1) to the white, 6-pin coupling (6) of the vehicle wiring harness.
6 Connect the black, 6-pin plug (7) of the inside rearview mirror (A67) with mirror taximeter (A50/1) to the black, 6-pin coupling (8) of the taxi/rental vehicle wiring harness (11).
7 Slip foam material padding (9) over the electrical connectors.
8 Strap down foam padded, blue, 2-pin coupling (13) (international roof sign) and fasten, as shown, with cable tie onto taxi/rental vehicle wiring harness (11).
The blue, 2-pin coupling (13) is used to connect the taxi international roof sign.
9 Route microphone branch-off line (12) for taxi/rental vehicle wiring harness (11) behind the inside rearview mirror cover (14) to the rain/light sensor.
The microphone branch-off line (12) is to be routed to the right next to the mirror base.
The line length of the microphone branch-off line (12) before the inside rearview mirror in the area of the rain/light sensor must be roughly 100 mm.
