The following operation steps are shown on the right side of the vehicle and can be accomplished analogously on the left side of the vehicle.






1 Connect wiring harness (9) to Tablet PC control unit mount (2) and route to front passenger seat control unit (N32/2).
2 Fasten wiring harness (9) to seat frame using cable ties and strap down any excess line length.
The white 8-pin coupling (9.1) and the black 4-pin plug (24) will be connected at a later stage.
Fasten wiring harness (9) to seat such that unrestricted adjustment of the seat is possible. Otherwise the wiring harness (9) may be sheared off or crushed.






3 Route wiring harness (6) from previously created opening in backrest to Tablet PC control unit mount (2).
4 Connect white 8-pin coupling (9.1) to white 8-pin plug (6.1).
5 Fasten the wiring harness (6), the white 8-pin plug (6.1) and the white 8-pin coupling (9.1) using cable ties to the seat frame and strap down any excess line length.






6 Detach black 4-pin coupling (10) of vehicle wiring harness from front passenger seat control unit (N32/2) and connect to black 4-pin plug (24) of wiring harness (9).
7 Plug black 4-pin coupling of wiring harness (9) instead of the black 4-pin coupling (10) to the front passenger seat control unit (N32/2) on the outer left slot.
8 Fasten wiring harness (9) to seat frame using cable ties and strap down any excess line length.
