Ensure that the wiring harnesses are not damaged by chafing or being trapped otherwise the appropriate wiring harness must be replaced.

1. Clip reversing camera (B84/3), as shown, into the cutout in the trunk lid provided for this and detach protective foil (4).
Guide the electrical line through into the interior of the trunk lid.

2. Connect black 4-pin coupling and white 6-pin coupling to the reversing camera power supply module (N66/10).
3. Route electrical line (2) of reversing camera and brown line (br) through the cable duct (6) to the left side of the trunk.
If the cable duct (6) is not fitted, this must be retrofitted.
4. Route blue/white line (bl/ws) and red/yellow line (rt/ge) along existing wiring harnesses from the reversing camera power supply module (N66/10) to the right side of the trunk and fix in place with cable ties.
The reversing camera power supply module (N66/10) is located on the left cable duct in the rear

5 Route electrical line (2) from cable duct (6) to the reversing camera and clip the clips connected to the electrical line (2) into the corresponding holes.
Observe wiring in the area of the trunk lid hinge. The electrical line (2) must be routed with adequate clearance.
6 Make electrical connector for reversing camera (B84/3x1).
To do this, connect black 4-pin coupling of electrical line (2) and black 4-pin connector of reversing camera.

7. Fix the electrical line (2) in place with clips (5) on trunk lid and apply preservation agent to the contact points of the clips (5).
8. Connect brown line (br) to ground point, left rear wheel arch (W6).

9. Route blue/white line (bl/ws) along existing wiring harnesses to the right backup lamp and fix in place with cable ties.
Observe wiring in the area of the trunk lid hinge. The blue/white line (bl/ws) must be routed with adequate clearance.
10. Route red/yellow line (rt/ge) along existing wiring harnesses to green fuse carrier (7) of the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fix in place with cable ties.

11. Connect blue/white line (bl/ws) of reversing camera wiring harness to the blue/white line (bl/ws) of the right backup lamp (E4/1e3) by means of potential distributor (8) and wrap felt tape around potential distributor (8).
The potential distributor (8) can be obtained from the wiring harness repair kit.

12. Remove green fuse carrier (7) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
13. Assemble red/yellow line (rt/ge) in chamber 4 of green fuse carrier (7).
14. Check fuse assignment of green fuse carrier (7).
If necessary, replace fuse (8) or insert a fuse (8) with 5 amp(s).
15. Mount green fuse carrier (7) on the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

16. Route electrical line (3) from reversing camera power supply module (N66/10) in the existing cable ducts along existing wiring harnesses to the radio recess and fix in place.

17. Mount green 2-pin connector (9) of electrical line (3) on the green slot of the COMAND controller unit (A40/3).
