AN54.30-P-0100-01EW Retrofit Multifunction Camera Wiring Harness

Component Identification:











1. Remove mounting clips (arrows A) from multifunction camera wiring harness (1).







2. Wrap felt tape around multifunction camera wiring harness (1), as shown, from mounting clip (7) to a length of 1800 mm.







3. Starting from the opening in the headliner (8), route multifunction camera wiring harness (1) along wiring harness of rain/light sensor (B38/2) to windshield.
4. Clip mounting clip (7) on multifunction camera wiring harness (1) into bore (arrow B).
5. Fix multifunction camera wiring harness (1) in place with adhesive tape (9) as shown.







6. Guide multifunction camera wiring harness (1) under headliner (8) to A-pillar.
7. Route multifunction camera wiring harness (1) along A-pillar to driver footwell.
8. Fix multifunction camera wiring harness (1) in place on vehicle wiring harness with two cable ties (10).
Route multifunction camera wiring harness (1) with maximum possible clearance from windowbag.







9. Fasten brown line (br) at left front footwell ground point (W15/5).

A maximum of five ground lines may be assigned to the left front footwell ground point (W15/5).

10. Connect white coupling (2-pin) (4) on chassis CAN branch-off line (5) to the vehicle floor chassis CAN potential distributor electrical connector (X30/30).


11. Route red/gray line (rt/gr) along vehicle wiring harness to front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module in engine compartment.
12. Fix brown line (br), chassis CAN branch-off line (5) and red/ gray line (rt/gr) to vehicle wiring harness with cable ties.







13. Detach yellow 12-pin coupling (6) from front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

The slot for the yellow 12-pin coupling (6) is marked with the designation "2I" on the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

14. Insert red/gray line (rt/gr) in slot 8 (arrow C) of the yellow 12-pin coupling (6).
15. Connect yellow 12-pin coupling (6) to front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
16. Tie back any excess length of the red/gray line (rt/gr) and fix in place on vehicle wiring harness with cable ties.
