1 Route violet line (vi) of comfort telephony wiring harness, as shown, to the left next to selector lever module in the slot of the removed audio component.
2 Release lock (11) on black 44-pin connector (9) and insert violet line (vi) into contact cavity "13" on the black 44- pin connector (9).
3 Relock lock (11) on black 44-pin connector (9).
4 Fix violet line (vi) of comfort telephony wiring harness in place with felt tape (arrow A) at center console (2).
5 Fix violet line (vi) of comfort telephony wiring harness in place on vehicle wiring harness using cable tie (arrow B).






6 Open cover (12) of cable duct (13).
7 Route comfort telephony wiring harness (1) from center console (2) to cable duct (13) of left frame floor assembly, as shown.
Ensure sufficient clearance of comfort telephony wiring harness (1) below rear floor covering (14).

8 Route brown line (br) of comfort telephony wiring harness (1), as shown, forward into the cable duct (13).
9 Route antenna line (15) and red/green line (rt/gn) of comfort telephony wiring harness (1), as shown, to the rear into the cable duct (13).
10 Use pull-through device to route antenna line (15) and red/ green line (rt/gn) through the cable duct (16) to the rear.






11 Install brown line (br) of comfort telephony wiring harness at left front seat crossmember ground point (W18).
12 Form loops with excess length of brown line (br) next to left front seat crossmember ground point (W18) and fix in place with felt tape (17).
13 Close cover (12) of cable duct.






14 Open covering of cable duct (23) in rear and route antenna line (15) and red/ green line (rt/gn) into it.
15 Wrap felt tape around red/green line (rt/ gn) behind the cable duct (23) for a length of 2000 mm.






16 Route antenna line (15) along vehicle wiring harness (24) on the C-pillar, as shown, and fix in place using cable ties (25).
17 Route red/green line (rt/gn), as shown, behind the rear seat backrest.






18 Route red/green line (rt/gn), as shown, along the vehicle wiring harness to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fasten in place using cable ties (arrows C).
Route red/green line (rt/gn) through cable duct (26).






19 Release locks (arrows D) and detach green 7-pin fuse carrier (27) from rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
Only for vehicles in which the green 7-pin fuse carrier (27) is already installed.






20 Release fuses (arrows G and H) on green 7-pin fuse carrier (27).
On vehicles in which the green 7-pin fuse carrier (27) is already installed, this holder is used. On vehicles in which the 7-pin green fuse carrier (27) is not yet installed, then the 7- pin green fuse carrier (27) included in the package is used.

21 Mount red/green line (rt/gn) into contact cavity "1" on green 7-pin fuse carrier (27).
The numbering of the slots is on the rear of the green 7-pin fuse carrier (27).

22 Lock fuses (arrows G and H) on green 7-pin fuse carrier (27).






23 Clip green 7-pin fuse holder (27) into green slot on rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
24 Insert fuse 81 (N10/2f81) with a rating of 7.5 A into contact cavity "1" on the green 7-pin fuse carrier (27).






25 Remove covering of headliner (28).
26 Route antenna line (15) in cable duct (29) to headliner (28).
27 Use pull-through device to route antenna line (15) behind the headliner (28) to the multifunction antenna (A28/11).
Make sure that the windowbag has unobstructed movement. Otherwise it may malfunction.

28 Connect black 1-pin connector of antenna line (15) to black slot of multifunction antenna (A28/11).
29 Fit covering for headliner (28) back on again.
