1 Remove carrier element (16.1) made of yellow plastic from 150 mm long adapter line (16).
The adapter line (16) is shown here without foam material padding for better clarity.

2 Mount carrier element (16.1) made of red plastic onto 150 mm long adapter line (16).






3 Route the 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (4), as shown, and connect to the red GPS antenna line connector (1) of the GPS antenna line (2) for the multifunction antenna.
4 Open covers (13) on right wheel arch cable duct.
5 Route the 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (4), as shown, to the carrier plate (14).
6 Fasten GPS antenna line (1) and GPS antenna line extension (4) using a cable tie to the vehicle wiring harness.






7 Clip antenna splitter for global positioning system (A2/5) into mounts (arrow) of carrier plate (14).






8 Connect GPS antenna line connector extension of 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (4) to antenna splitter for global positioning system (A2/5).
9 Connect GPS antenna line coupling of 1939 mm long GPS antenna line (7) to black slot of antenna splitter for global positioning system (A2/5).
10 Route GPS antenna line (7) into spare wheel well.
11 Connect GPS antenna line coupling extension of 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (9) to red slot of antenna splitter for global positioning system (A2/5).
12 Route the 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (9), as shown, along the GPS antenna line extension (4) to the connector.
13 Fasten the 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (4), GPS antenna line (7) and 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (9) using a cable tie onto the carrier plate (14).






14 Route the 2079 mm long GPS antenna line extension (9), as shown, to the vehicle's on-board GPS antenna line (12).
15 Connect the 150 mm long adapter line (16) to the red GPS antenna line connector extension (10) of the GPS antenna line extension (9) and slide the foam material padding over the connector.
16 Connect adapter line (16) to red GPS antenna line coupling (11) of vehicle's on-board GPS antenna line (12) and slide foam material padding (15) over the connector.
17 Fasten GPS antenna line extension (9), adapter line (16) and GPS antenna line (12) using cable ties to the vehicle wiring harness.
18 Close covers (13) on right wheel arch cable duct.
