AZ82.61-P-0003-02EW Retrofit GPS Antenna

1 Wrap felt tape around Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna wiring harness (18) of GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23).
2 Affix the Velcro tape (19) included in the scope of supply to the top of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23).

The top of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) can be recognized by the lettering "TOP" or by the spacer (arrow). The area of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) to which the tape is going to be affixed must be free of dust and grease.

3 Wrap felt tape around GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23).







4 Remove protective foil from Velcro strip of GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) and stick GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23), as shown, onto bar (20) in installation opening of Audio/COMAND display.
5 Also fasten GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23), as shown, using a cable tie (21).







6 Route GPS antenna wiring harness (18) through the cable duct of the Low Voltage Differential Signal (LVDS) display wiring harness into the radio slot.
7 Route GPS antenna wiring harness (18) further into the front passenger footwell to the Universal Media Interface adapter wiring harness (3).
