AN82.61-P-7474-04EW Retrofit Antenna For Global Positioning System (GPS)







1 Wind felt tape (2) around antenna line (1) of GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23).
2 Mask off bottom of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) with felt tape.

Do not mask off the top of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) with the opening (arrow) with felt tape.

3 Detach blue supporting body (4) (no longer required) from adapter line (5).

Adapter line (5) is connected to antenna line (2) at a later point.

4 Remove covering foil (3) of GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23).

5 Glue on GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) in the upper area of the Audio/ COMAND display slot.

The opening of the GPS antenna (retrofit) (A2/23) must point towards the windshield.

6 Route antenna line (1) through the cable duct of the low voltage differential signal line (6) in the slot of the radio with auto pilot system or the COMAND controller unit.
7 Connect adapter line to antenna line (1).







8 Install adapter line (5) in free slot of blue supporting body (8) of Bluetooth antenna line (7).

If necessary, blue supporting body (8) of Bluetooth antenna line (7) must be removed and replaced with a blue supporting body (8) with two slots.
For this, the adapter line (5) must be installed in the left slot above the lock (9).
