AN82.85-P-0005-02EW Install Wiring Harness Of Additional Fan For COMAND

1 Wrap COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) with felt tape.
2 Using the white 4-pin coupling (2) of the COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) and the white 4-pin plug of the COMAND fan motor (M4/13), make the radio fan electrical connection (X120).
3 Route COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) from the radio fan electrical connection (X120) to the slot of the COMAND controller unit.







4 Remove black 12-pin coupling (4) from 42-pin coupling (3).
5 Remove insert (5) from black 12-pin coupling (4).
6 Install electrical lines (6) of COMAND fan motor wiring harness in insert (5).

Assignment:
Contact cavity 1 = gray/yellow line
Contact cavity 2 = brown/yellow line
Contact cavity 7 = gray line
Contact cavity 8 = red/yellow line







7 Install insert (5) in black 12-pin coupling (4).
8 Install black 12-pin coupling (4) at 42-pin coupling (3).
