Important note

- This fault code occurs if diesel particulate filter regeneration takes place too frequently.
- This results in oil dilution.
Further procedure

- First of all, read out fault memory of component N3/9 (CDI control unit) and process.
- Perform plausibility check of temperature sensors in exhaust system.
- The engine oil must be replaced.
- After the engine oil change, menu item 'Teach-in of diesel particulate filter after replacement of engine control unit without transfer of values' must be performed via menu 'Control unit adaptations'.
- Erase fault memory.
