There is an internal fault in component N14/3 (Glow output stage).

Test 1: Replace component N14/3 (Glow time output stage).

1. Replace component N14/3 (Glow time output stage).
Possible cause and remedy

- Check all lines from component N14/3 (Glow time output stage) to the glow plugs for short circuit to positive.
- Component N14/3 (Glow time output stage) is defective.
This fault caused irreparable damage to at least one glow plug.Procedure

- Switch off ignition.
- Replace component N14/3 (Glow time output stage).
- Coolant temperature<40° C(A lower coolant temperature is required for fault detection.)
- Switch on ignition.
- Read fault memory once again.
- Replace glow plugs found to be defective.
Important note

- For warranty and goodwill claims, you must include a printout of the fault freeze frame data with the component to be replaced.
