The control deviation during rail pressure regulation via the quantity control valve is too high. Rail pressure deviation due to air forming in the system when the fuel tank is run empty


Possible cause:

- Check components of high pressure control circuit.
Affected functions:

- Power generation

Test 1: Check low-pressure fuel circuit and high-pressure fuel circuit.

1. Check low-pressure fuel circuit and high-pressure fuel circuit.
Check components of high pressure control circuit.
Note on fault setting conditions

- If one of the associated fault codes has the status 'CURRENT' or there is a customer complaint or stored faults with high frequency counter, then perform further tests.
- If the fault has occurred once and no customer complaint has been received, erase the fault memory.
- Before performing any further work, the fuel level when the fault occurred must be checked in the fault freeze frame data.
- Make sure that the vehicle was only refueled with diesel fuel.
